About Me
My name is Kat Walker. In May 2009 I received my BFA in Visual Effects from the Savannah College of Art & Design. I am currently residing in Austin, TX.My focus within my major was Motion Capture. Out of all the things I've tried it is what I enjoy doing the most. However I also enjoy creating collages in photo editing software, creating After Effects projects and designing my own websites. The entire digital production line interests me, and so one of my teachers recommended I become a Production Assistant. My overall interest in the entertainment industry provided me with a degree and the background to do well in such an environment. My customer service skills have developed throughout my previous jobs and my ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail would make me a great asset to any production.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing video games, watching movies and traveling. Some of my favorite shows and movies include Star Wars, Lost, The Office, Jurassic Park, Serenity and I Am Legend. Some of my favorite books include the Harry Potter series, Ender's Game, 1984 and Fahrenheit 451.
Also important in my life are my two dogs. I enjoy spending time with them at the dog park, rollerblading and on walks.
